About Alisa

Growing up in South Louisiana, Alisa was inspired by the traditions of the area, from Louisiana’s unique art and culture, to it’s rich history of delicious cuisine and inspired faith traditions.  In 2000, Alisa moved with her family to Atlanta, Georgia and added a vibrant, new city to her list of inspirations.  She has often found that Atlanta is full of hybrid projects that bind the past with the present through the revitalization of old mills, buildings, and other structures in the area.  Her art infuses the same elements of excitement and fresh style to pieces that have historically-significant attributes and inspirations.  Alisa’s unique design elements utilize a wide variety of materials in her work which cause the observer to take a step closer, linger a little longer, and experience the city vibe come to life with infusions of faith, rich tradition, and historical roots that run deep.
